What is the standard size for folders?

Most standard, general-purpose folders are 9″ x 12″. Legal size folders measure 9″ x 14.5″. Small 4″ x 6″ folders are popular for press kits and to hand out at trade shows/conventions.

How much does a custom folder cost?

Standard 9″ x 12″ folders printed on 14 pt. gloss cover stock start at just $341.00 for 100 pieces. We can add single or double pockets and single or double business card slits for no additional charge.

I would like to use my own folder design. How should I set up the file?

We accept design files in any one of the following formats: TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, PSD, BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, and PDF. Please make sure your file is in CMYK mode and the resolution is set to 350 dpi or higher. The maximum file upload size is 75 megabytes.

We require a 0.3″ bleed on folder design files. For best results, please refer to our downloadable folder templates. All of our templates are clearly marked with the safety zone, trim line, and bleed line to help ensure your folders look perfect.

How long will it take to receive my custom folders?

Our production time for most folder orders is 3 to 5 business days. We consider the first day of production to be the day after you have approved your proof and your payment is processed. If your order is approved and payment is processed by 9AM PT/ 11AM CT/ 12PM ET, then the production time begins that day.
